The Great Jousting Tournament
24th May - 1st June

Two men. Dressed head to toe in mediaeval armour. Armed to the teeth. And charging towards each other on horseback... It's sport. But nothing like you've seen before.

Warwick Castle was one of only 5 places given permission by Richard the Lionheart to hold Jousts. Now it's back for nine days of heart stopping entertainment. And as if that wasn't enough, there's also displays of archery from the Warwick Bowman, the stunning Flight of the Eagles show and a whole Castle full of fun to discover afterwards.

Girls Aloud in Concert
4th July

Summer Concert with Fireworks
5th July

Don't miss a fantastic evening of music, opera and fireworks in the stunning grounds of Warwick Castle at the best event of its kind in the Midlands.The annual summer concert this year features the Welsh National Opera playing operatic favourites and finishes with a spectacular firework finale. The Great Mediaeval Summer
19th July – 31st August

This summer, Warwick Castle will be bursting with mediaeval activities including jousting, jesting, minstrels, fighting knights, falconry, archery and the mighty Warwick trebuchet - plus indoor themed experiences and a whole castle full of adventure to discover every day. 

One of the original "Royal Approved" sites of British jousting, Warwick Castle provides a mesmerising setting for its spectacular twice daily joust. Warwick's brave knights pit their wits and strength against each other in a contest of courage, colourful horsemanship and military precision, with plenty to dazzle and delight guests of all ages.

Meanwhile, foot soldiers will show off their crack combat skills and jesters will juggle, joke and generally play the fool.  The ruthless accuracy and fatal precision of the deadly Warwick bowman is guaranteed to wow guests, as is the one and only mighty Warwick trebuchet - the World's biggest siege machine, a gargantuan 18metre catapult - shoots in a jaw dropping spectacle twice daily.

With ghost stories of a haunted castle of yesteryear, two spookily themed Halloween trails to explore and creepy characters galore, Warwick Castle is the place for frightful family fun.

Guests to the castle can follow the pumpkin trail up the ancient mound to meet the Jack-O-Lantern King or embark on an outdoor trail with the spookiest of creepy crawlies and surprises aplenty. Creepy characters including the grotesque Singing Plague Victims, ghoulish Grave Diggers and strange Hermit of the Crypt will roam the castle, recounting spooky tales to young and old.

And for the ultimate haunted castle experience, guests can have an eerie after-dark adventure when the Castle stays open until 10pm for two Ghosts and Ghouls Alive Suppers (31st October and 1st November).

Christmas at Warwick Castle

Join us at Warwick Castle this Christmas with your family and friends for what will be a truly magical and mystical experience.

Let us take you on a festive journey of fantasy and fairytale as the Castle is transformed to the ultimate Christmas destination.  Entertainments will include the magical Christmas Tree Forest and its mischievous resident Jack Frost, and Christmas stories and fairytales in the State Rooms courtesy of the Snowflake Fairy, the Giant King and the Holly Prince and Ivy Princess.

In addition, make sure that you take a trip to Santa's Tower and experience the hustle, bustle and atmosphere of Santa’s workshop as preparation for the big day really starts to step up a notch.
