Bird of Prey Experience

Why not treat yourself or a friend to a fantastic Birds of Prey experience at Warwick Castle and get close to the action - vouchers are available online now or by calling 0870 999 0297. Birds of Prey Experiences are available in association with Hawk Experience.

The Experience begins with an introduction to our stunning collection of Birds of Prey. These include some of the worlds largest raptors, such as the magnificent Golden Eagle, the awesome White-tailed and Steller’s Sea Eagles, our comical trio of Vultures and our beautiful Eagle Owls.

Then you will get the opportunity to learn the techniques of how to handle and fly some of these magnificent creatures under the guidance of an experienced falconer. There is lots of ‘hands on’ activity involved in your experience. The birds you will fly are likely to include a Harris Hawk, a Buzzard and an Eagle Owl with the chance to handle a Bald Eagle, so don’t forget your camera! These birds will be given their independence to fly around the picturesque grounds of the Castle, returning to your gloved hand time and time again. You will not forget a day spent with these magnificent birds.

After the experience witness our Flight of the Eagles public display. Watch as some of natures most powerful predators soar and fly around the Castle ramparts and towers, in and out of the arena and circle overhead working hard to earn their lunch. This is something you really don’t want to miss.

You are then free to enjoy your two course lunch within the Undercroft and explore the rest of the Castle and grounds.
