Best Of British This St George's Day At Warwick Castle

The Great BritishFood and Craft Fair will be held on 23-25 April and aims to showcase someof the best British exports.

Guests can enjoy cookery demonstrations across theweekend, including demos from celebrity chef Richard Fox, who will be sharinghis best recipes to prepare an array of great British classic dishes. 

For those guest who fancy themselves as a wine or beerconnoisseur, regular tasting sessionswill be held, where guests can learn the how to refine their palates and how tomake the right beverage choice to accompany their favourite meal.

Children will be able to busy their hands with an arrayof hands-on activities, including the Make‘n’ Bake Cookery Area and a CraftMake ‘n’ Take Area and Tile Painting, where crafty kids can take homecreations, from jam tarts and plaster of paris models and money boxes.

In addition to the ‘see and do’ activities that will beon offer, guests can also enjoy watching the spectacular Chainsaw Sculptor, Carrie Yuen, in action. Guests can witness hertransform logs into masterpieces; from tigers and crocodiles to owls andtortoises. Guests will also be able to purchase her timber creations on theday. 

If that’s not enough to keep guests busy, Warwick favourite, The Castle Dungeon, will be open forbusiness, inviting those with strong stomachs to travel back to the time of theplague and meet some of Warwick’s most horrifying characters.

For those who enjoy prettier surroundings, The Princess Tower plays host to enchanting mirrors, magicalprincesses and a huge dressing up box, so budding little princesses can dressup in royal finery.

Nikita the sea eagle and friends return to the Castle for thespectacular Flight of the Eagles show,where guests will meet the resident falconerwho will showcase the elegance, grace and intelligence of these beautiful birdsof prey.
